Transferring a domain to Domaind
A transfer costs one year of registration and adds that year to your current expiry date — you do not lose the time you already paid for.

Unlock the domain at your current registrar
Look for "registrar lock" or "transfer lock" and switch it off. Then request the authorisation code — sometimes called an EPP code or auth code.

Check the 60-day rule
ICANN blocks transfers within 60 days of a registration or a previous transfer. If you are inside that window, you have to wait it out — no registrar can override it.

Paste the code, pay, and we submit the request. Your current registrar will email you to confirm.

Approve the email and wait
Approving speeds it up. Ignoring it does not cancel the transfer — it just makes the registry wait the full five days before completing it.
Transfers are governed by the ICANN Transfer Policy. Your DNS records do not change when a domain moves registrar, so a correctly prepared transfer causes no downtime.
